Dominance in every domain: Veronte tactical avionics

Modern battlefields are increasingly defined by signal denial. The Veronte Autopilot ecosystem is engineered to ensure mission success even when satellite signals are compromised. By fusing data from diverse, non-jammable sources, the system maintains absolute tactical precision without relying on GNSS.

Resilient navigation & electronic warfare

When satellite signals are lost, the Veronte VBN module activates to provide a dedicated solution for high-accuracy optical navigation in both mapped and non-premapped areas. This system utilizes advanced real-time video processing algorithms to maintain positioning.

For operations requiring extreme endurance and precision, the avionics support:

  • Precision dead-reckoning: robust inertial navigation fused with real-time wind estimation.
  • Tactical FOG integration: native support for high-grade Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
  • Electronic warfare resilience: automated anti-jamming transitions and anti-spoofing logic to identify falsified GPS signals.
  • Hardened design: avionics certified for EMI/EMC resilience to withstand battlefield conditions

Stealth & advanced combat maneuvers

To achieve low-observable operations, the system features the "Go Dark" Emissions Control (EMCON) protocol. This mandate cuts all RF transmissions to eliminate electronic signatures and can be activated automatically based on predefined events. When combined with Silent Glide—which allows for in-flight engine cut-off and restart—Veronte ensures total acoustic and electronic stealth.

For high-stakes mission execution, the autopilot supports specialized profiles:

  • Evasion protocols: pre-programmed maneuvers triggered instantly upon threat detection.
  • 4D Trajectory: precise 3D path planning with "Time-on-Target" constraints.
  • Homing guidance: vision-based target tracking for terminal guidance accuracy.
  • High-G launch: optimized control for catapult, canopy, or rocket-assisted takeoffs.

Multi-domain strategic command

Veronte Ops provides a "single pane of glass" for true multi-domain operations, allowing operators to control heterogeneous assets across Air, Land, and Sea simultaneously from one unified interface.

In maritime environments, the system enables Sea-Skimming missions, utilizing specialized control laws for high-speed, low-altitude flight over water to evade radar. It also executes Moving Vessel Recovery, allowing for fully autonomous landings on moving decks by actively compensating for pitch, roll, and heave in rough seas. Mission control can be transferred securely between ground, ship, or shore teams in real-time through Seamless C2 Handoff with role-based permissions.

Cybersecurity, integrity & global standards

System integrity is backed by Embention's status as an Approved Design Organization (APDOA) and Production Organization (POA). This ensures every unit is manufactured under strict aviation oversight.

  • Data security: includes profile lock to protect proprietary control logic, high-level encryption for all links, and on-demand "zeroizing" of mission-critical Data-at-Rest (DAR).
  • Interoperability: built on Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles and fully compliant with NATO STANAG 4586.
  • Aviation-grade reliability: engineered to meet DO-178C (Software), DO-254 (Hardware), and MIL-STD-810/DO-160G (Environmental hardening).
  • International compliance: fully NDAA section 889 compliant.

User-programmable control system

Embention’s advanced customization tools allow drone integrators full access to tailor autopilot behavior to aircraft and mission needs. Failsafes, routines, programs, phases, control channels, navigation, and guidance can all be defined and adjusted to fit any operation.

image

Model based design

Embention’s Simulink-like interface allows users to visually design advanced programs for GNC, mission logic, and custom functionalities. Elaborate control strategies can be built without the need for deep coding expertise. This user-friendly workspace speeds up system development and facilitates quick iterations, simplifying autopilot adaptation to new platform configurations or mission profiles while ensuring DO178C compliance is maintained.

image

Custom C++ code

With Embention’s technology, developers can import custom C++ code into Veronte hardware, facilitating the creation of specialized functions tailored to unique project needs. The Custom Code license permits users to integrate their own modules as program blocks within the autopilot software, providing full flexibility while ensuring seamless compatibility with the core system.

image

Automatic routines

Through Embention’s platform, events and actions are easily configured to automate mission sequences, failsafes, flight phases, and any other routine, enabling fully autonomous operations. Specific triggers such as altitude, speed, location, or system status can initiate predefined actions, including return-to-home or output activation, guaranteeing safe, reliable, and hands-free control throughout all flight scenarios.
